Once a year in July, East Corinth, Vermont holds one of the oldest running flea markets in the state of Vermont. What once started as a local community fundraiser for the local doctor's office, is now a well known flea market that brings people together from all over New England.
For 40 years the profits of the flea market supported the local health center, but after becoming federally funded the Health Center Auxiliary decided to pass on the flea market event to a new community coordinator. As of 2010, the flea market profits help support the local preschool, Sugar Maple Preschool, and the local PTO, The Friends of Waits River Valley School.
The flea market is held on what is known as the "Old Fairgrounds", located off of Fairground Road, just off of Vermont Route 25 in East Corinth, Vermont. If traveling on interstate 91, you would take the Bradford Exit, #16. Traveling east bound from Barre, Vermont, you would travel on Vermont Route 302, to Vermont Route 25.
Saturday, June 29, 2013 will mark the 44th year of the flea market and will run from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.. Admission and parking are FREE to the general public. Restroom facilities are available on site. Food and Refreshments are sold throughout the day.
Vendor spaces are available for $25 each at a layout size of 15' x 20'. Spaces are limited and are secured when your check arrives in the mail.
